Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, has achieved outstanding achievements throughout its forty years of establishment. In conjunction with the achievements, a Hari Raya celebration themed, 'Gemilang 40: Gemerlapan Aidilfitri' was held at Bridex, Jerudong, 23rd April morning.

Present was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education. The celebration was divided into two sessions, with the morning session attended by over three hundred people including industry partners, alumni as well as strategic stakeholders who have been instrumental in UBD's growth and success. This year's UBD Aidilfitri celebration event also embraced a green sustainability theme, with the provision of biodegradable plates and utensils. Guests were also encouraged to bring their own reusable cutlery. The initiative demonstrates UBD's ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation.
